Lieschen’s Lamb Seasoning – East meets West
Aromatic and tender lamb puts a smile on the face of every connoisseur, just as it does on Lieschen’s, the pretty shepherdess pictured on the decorative SONNENTOR spice shakers. The fragrant blend of rosemary, savory and tarragon give lamb a classic flavour, while peppermint and hyssop add a hint of Oriental cuisine. The longer the seasoning is cooked with the meat, the more intense is the flavour. Also other meat such as grilled beef, pork or chicken develops a delicious aroma when seasoned with this special blend of spices.
Sven’s Fish Seasoning – Sailing the seven seas
Whether freshwater sailor or pirate captain, everyone loves fish. Who hasn’t yet been confident to give fish dishes a go, now gets support from the real fish expert Sven and his Fish Seasoning. Parsley, mustard and lovage provide fish soups or fish fillets with a fine-spicy note, and the fresh aroma of lemongrass adds a special kick. Sven recommends a short cooking time so that the mixture doesn’t lose its sweet herbal aroma.
Franzl’s Game Seasoning – for traditional game recipes
Who, if not an experienced hunter, knows how to perfectly prepare venison. Hunting was also the passion of the Austrian Emperor Franz Josef. So it comes as no surprise that the name “Franzl”, as the Austrian emperor is affectionately called, lends itself for this spice mixture. Juniper berries, rosemary and thyme bring out the typical game flavour of the meat. The blend is best crushed in a mortar and combined with a little bit of stock and oil. Marinated overnight, the game tastes particularly delicate. Franzl’s Game Seasoning also refines gravy and stews in a flash and can be added right at the beginning of the cooking time.
Aunt Mizzi’s roast spice – refreshing childhood memories
Who hasn’t got an “Aunt Mizzi”, whose greatest joy it is to gather the family around the table for a Sunday roast? Delicious fragrances oozing from the kitchen and stirring up the appetite are probably part of everyone’s most beautiful childhood memories. For those who feel that they want to create this warm feeling for their loved ones in their own home, SONNENTOR has created “Aunt Mizzi’s” Roast Seasoning. Rubbing onto the meat and slowly roasting it in its own juices – delicious! With garlic, black pepper, coriander, marjoram, plus a touch of caraway to aid digestion, this spice blend gives the Sunday roast a fantastic “Aunt Mizzi” flavour.
